It is so odd to be starting school before Labor Day! The kids will be in class bright & early Monday morning. So here's the news that is important this week for our students:
· They pick up final schedules in the Outside Gym first thing. Schedule issues - make an appointment with your counselor on the first day of school.
· They must display their parking passes (if they have one)
· They must have their summer reading done.

You can drop off your donations at 23 Newport Key on Thursday or Friday, September 10th & 11th. (Google the address for directions). Please make sure all donations are clean and in good shape. Please consider that if it doesn’t sell it will be donated to Goodwill. We do not want to pay dump fees for any undesirable items. Please separate items by category, i.e. kitchen, bathroom, knick-knacks, sports, etc and place them in a bag or box and clearly mark which category it goes with. This will make it easier for those who will be setting up the sale. Shopping bags needed also.

P.S. Class of 2011 will be sponsoring this event next year for our students. So let's do what we can for the class of 2010.
Open House/Classroom Bucks is on Sept 24th.
There will be class meetings at 6:15, then you get to visit your student’s teachers starting at 7:00. During the evening, we will collect money for our annual “Classroom Bucks” fundraiser, which is given to our wonderful teachers in the form of grants. Please give generously!
Virtually every sort of booster wear, booster gear, and booster food will be on display and available for purchase on Open House night. Be sure to have a checkbook full of checks and a pocket full of cash for this night!! You will also be able to pick up your school Directory.
