Grad Knight Updates

Ticket Sales:
Time is running out to get your tickets to the best post-graduation party ever! Grad Knight is an all-night, chaperoned event designed for fun and your last chance to be together as the class of 2011. Busses will transport you from Hec Ed to a number of venues where you're sure to have a great time. But you can’t go if you don’t buy a ticket. Tickets are now $150 and require a signed permission slip. Turn your slip and check into the Grad Knight box in the office. If money is tight, be sure to talk to your counselor because there's scholarship money available. Hurry! Bus sign-ups start in just a few weeks.

There will be a Grad Knight table at both lunches on Thursday, April 21st. This is your student's opportunity to turn in their permission form and payment. All students who are 18 need to stop by the table and sign their permission form!

Bus Sign-Ups:
First date to sign-up for your student to sign up for their bus for Grad Knight is April 29th during both lunches. Payment and permission form must be received and on file in order to sign up for a bus. Additional dates for bus sign-ups are May 18th 12:30-2:00.
May 23rd & 25th TBD.

Volunteers Needed to help with Bus Sign-Ups. Please let me know if you are available on Friday, April 29th mid-morning through lunch time. I will confirm times as there is an assembly in the morning.

Fundraising
Our fundraising efforts are nearly over. Through ticket prices, numerous fundraisers and responsible spending on behalf of our Grad Knight Committee, we are nearly there. We encourage you to please attend one of the Dine Out Cash Out events to help out (information below). If you cannot attend, please send in a tax deductible gift to push us to the finish line! Every bit helps! Make checks out to Newport PTSA and put "Grad Knight 2011" in the memo line. You or student can drop off check to main office. THANK YOU!
