Just a couple of reminders as we end of the first week of school. Enjoy the holiday weekend!
Disco Dance
The first dance of the year is on Friday Sept. 4th following the Varsity Football Game against Woodinville.
Students need to buy their tickets this week. No tickets will be available at the door. No sales on Friday. Remember, if your student does not attend school on Friday, he/she will not be admitted to the dance, even if he/she has purchased a ticket.
Cost $5.00 with ASB - $6.00 without Last day to buy tickets: Thursday 9/3 – Both Lunches and After School
Parking for Friday’s Football Game - vs Woodinville
Parking is prohibited in the Mockingbird hill neighborhood across 124th. Bellevue Police will be writing tickets! Carpool if you can.
ASB cards for students that missed check-in days
ASB cards are needed for athletic events and dances. In order to get into the football game without a charge, your student will need to purchase their ASB card by Friday in order to get on the class list indicating they have ASB. If they have ID, bring it.
If they want to purchase a disco dance ticket at the ASB price, your student will need to purchase their ASB card Thursday before or at lunch in order to get on the class list indicating they have ASB. If they have ID, bring it.
Picture Make-Up Day-for those students that missed check-in days
Wednesday, September 9th they will take their picture and receive their ASB card. If your student, doesn't purchase ASB, they still need to have their picture taken. All students are required to have a NHS ID card.

Kaplan PSAT Practice Test
Aspen Student volunteers are collecting registration forms and fees this week and next week. Deadline for turning in forms will be September 10th during both lunches. The practice test will be on Saturday, September 12th.
SAT Prep Class
Newport's Honor Society is sponsoring a fundraiser with SAT Prep Inc. A discounted 6 class course & practice test will be offered in September, February and March. A portion of the registration fees goes to support students at Newport. If the September class does not get more registrants, it will be cancelled. Class Sweats
Next Tuesday, Thursday and Friday ASB officers will have samples and will be taking order forms during both lunches. Last day to order is Friday, September 11th.
